Christmas Countdown

 Good morning,

Can you believe that it almost December? Back in March it seemed so long away. We all had Covid on our minds and we still do. That doesn't mean that we won't have Christmas though - just a bit different. I do know one thing for sure, Santa is still coming🎅!!!

At Stampin' Up! we have a very special Christmas/Advent "calendar. 

It is very sturdy cardboard box that measures 11 3/16" square and is 2 3/16" deep. It comes with 25 premade boxes for you to decorate! All of the drawer front papers are included just waiting for you to punch out, decide what colour you want where and adhere. Also included are stickers to decorate the fronts and numbers!

Last year my daughter and I made the "calendar" together in under 2 hours. We had a lot of fun putting it together with Christmas music on in the background.

It is an easy project for you to make with or for your children(even the older ones), your grandchildren, your friend or significant other!

My daughter and I divided up the days that we were responsible to put some little thing in for the other person. This included Lindt chocolates(my favourite days:) ), little notes and I even put in a pair of Christmas earrings for her. Nothing expensive just fun!!! The boxes are approx. 2" X 2" X 2" so they are roomy.

Some people decorate the back of the boxes as well with other paper. I have seen countdowns to Hallowe'en, birthdays, anniversaries etc. If you go on Pinterest you will see many ideas.

         It is white and I wanted something a bit different.

         I used some paper that looked like wood and put

         it one the sides and top.

          It is yours to decorate it however you want!!!
